The mother organization was motivated to begin the MPAH Project when the Ghana Education Service (GES) downgraded Sec Tech from grade A to B. The primary reason for the downgrade was the lack of an independent assembly hall necessary for other forms of school gathering beside dining. When MMB ’89 boys heard the clarion call to redeem the A grade status of our Alma Mater by building an assembly hall, they responded.
The purpose of MPAH is to provide the school with a large auditorium, capable of accommodating about 3000 people at a time. The current school population is about 2500 students and the dining hall, which was originally built to hold about 600 students, now obviously lacks the ability to support 2500 simultaneously.
